Assam Gold | Rujani Tea
A stunning tea from the Aideobarie Tea Estates situated on the banks of the River Teok, which meanders its way down from the Naga Hills to the south of the farm, and then flows north to the tributaries of the mighty Brahmaputra river in Assam, India.
These furry golden buds glisten in the sun and produce a prized cup that is rich, velvety smooth boasting notes of malt and a honey sweetness with a touch of spice and wood.
Harvested in the early morning in Spring, this second flush tea has won the Single-Origin Black Tea Bronze medal in 2019 and the Gold medal in 2020 at the prestigious Golden Leaf Awards in Australia
